Overall best company I've worked for
"Probably the best company I've worked for, everyone helpful anytime I've got a problem I know that someone willing to help and all of our Clients are lovely which makes the job so much easier and better."
Care Assistants spend much of their day working independently, so having a strong team behind you matters. Here, people know each other well, and there is always someone familiar to turn to for advice or support.
Good work is recognised, people help when someone is having a difficult day, and new starters are properly welcomed. Coordinators know who you are, not just what your rota says, and managers stay present and reachable.
You have independence with Clients, with a local team behind you when you need it.
"I joined Right at Home in 2022 as a Caregiver and was fortunate to be given the opportunity to progress within the company to Care Coordinator. Now, three years on, I can confidently say it has been the best career choice I've made. I feel incredibly lucky to work alongside such a dedicated and supportive team- both in the office and our wonderful carers."
Care Coordinator, Great Dunmow · 16 September 2025
Chris came from a completely different career before moving into care. In this short video, he explains why he made the change and what mattered to him when Right at Home started locally.
Since then, the business has been shaped by the Care Assistants, coordinators and managers who work here every day across Bishop’s Stortford, Braintree and Stevenage.
