Care Assistant - Stevenage

Home-visit based · Permanent · Full-Time & Part-Time Hours Available | £14.20 an hour on weekdays, £14.40 at weekends, plus paid travel time and mileage

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our team, supporting clients in their own homes with unhurried visits of at least 45 minutes. No previous care experience is required, full training is provided. You will be working with clients across Stevenage, Letchworth and Hitchin.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care including washing, dressing and support with mobility
Support with medication reminders and administration
Prepare meals and help around the home
Offer companionship and conversation
Support clients with shopping and getting to appointments
Keep accurate care records after each visit

About You

A caring and reliable nature
Good communication skills
Willingness to complete induction training
Availability for every other weekend
A full UK or EU/EEA driving licence and your own vehicle

Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, full training is provided.
